Cihan Biyikoglu Managing Director, Product

Cihan Biyikoglu is the Managing Director, Product, Insurance Solutions at Moody's, responsible for product management across the full suite of Moody's RMS Models and risk management tools. He has extensive experience of leading product management for innovative machine learning and big data analytics solutions at Fortune 500 companies over the last 20 years. As a former Vice President of Product at Databricks and Redis Labs, Cihan both developed the product strategy and road map for open-source technologies such as Apache Spark and Redis and respective enterprise offerings in the public and private cloud platforms.

Cihan also worked on products at Microsoft, Couchbase, and Twitter, where he focused on on-premises and cloud offerings in the data and analytics space. At Microsoft, Cihan focused on the incubation of the Azure Cloud Platform in its early days and the SQL Server product line, both of which have grown to multi-billion-dollar businesses for Microsoft.

Cihan holds a number of patents in the data management and analytics space, and he has a master’s degree in database systems and a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering.

Julie Serakos Senior Vice President, Model Product Management, Moody's RMS

Julie Serakos leads Moody's RMS's Model Product Management team overseeing the production of our global climate, earthquake, and emerging risk models.  Julie has over 30 years in the insurance industry leading major broker catastrophe analytics teams for BMS Re US, Willis Re and E.W. Blanch Co.   Julie volunteers with the International Society of Catastrophe Managers (ISCM) where she sits on the Executive Committee as its treasurer. Julie holds a Bachelor of Mathematics degree from the Institute of Technology at the University of Minnesota and a Certified Catastrophe Risk Management Professional (CCRMP) designation.

Paul Juniper Vice President, Product Management - Risk Analytics Applications, Moody's RMS

Paul Juniper has more than 25 years of experience delivering risk management solutions to for insurance and reinsurance companies globally. In his role at Moody's RMS, Paul is responsible for all Risk Analytics Applications across the Moody's RMS Intelligent Risk Platform. Prior to joining Moody's RMS, Paul was Head of Product Management and Pre-Sales for AdvantageGo, driving the strategy for the company's product vision, roadmaps and innovating new products to take to market. Paul holds a BA(Hons) in Financial Economics from the University of Coventry

Aaron Mayfield Senior Director of Product Management – Risk Data Products

Aaron started with Moody's RMS in 2021 in his role as Sr. Director of Product Management, leading the Risk Data Products team. He previously worked with HERE Technologies, leading the Location Intelligence product team. Prior to that Aaron worked within the insurance industry for both CoreLogic (MSB) and CNA Insurance leading product and engineering teams in the Commercial Property space. Aaron is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, and recently relocated to his hometown near Madison, Wisconsin from his longtime home in Chicago.

Laura Barksby Product Manager

Laura joined Moody's RMS in 2014 and is a Product Manager within the global earthquake product management team, based in London. She is responsible for the Moody's RMS New Zealand Earthquake HD Model, as well as the Australia earthquake, and Europe earthquake models.

Laura is a Certified Catastrophe Risk Analyst and holds a bachelor’s degree in Geography, and a master’s degree in Risk and Environmental Hazard both from Durham University.
