2019 has proven to be another active year for Japan typhoons following record losses in 2018.
Bloomberg Intelligence is hosting industry experts from RMS to discuss the complexities in estimating losses from natural disasters, with a specific focus on the company’s recent estimate of $7-11 billion in insured losses for Typhoon Hagibis. This storm may have a large impact on 4Q results for Japan insurers and international reinsurers.
