Exceedance is coming to Miami in just a few short weeks and I wanted to send a quick reminder of what there is to see and do starting Monday, May 14, with our pre-conference activities.
Along with experiencing the many informative aspects of Exceedance, we have planned some opportunities to relax and have some fun, including:

Crandon Golf at Key Biscayne
“Tee it Up” at Crandon Golf Course: Enjoy a challenging and fun round of golf at the beautiful Crandon Golf Course, a championship 18-hole course located on the island paradise of Key Biscayne, just 10 minutes from downtown Miami. It is a great place for you and your colleagues to experience a one-of-a-kind day on a championship golf course.

Set Sail on the Stiltsville Yacht Cruise: Cruise the bay and enjoy a relaxing, narrated bay cruise. The highlight is Stiltsville, a group of homes built on stilts in the middle of Key Biscayne National Park. These homes are built on the “Safety Valve,” a series of shallow sand flats separated by tidal flow channels, stretching about 8 miles (13 km) from the south end of Key Biscayne. It is believed that these flats moderate the effects of storm surges on the bay.
Tour the National Hurricane Center: This popular activity sold out quickly! For those of you attending, this behind-the-scenes, one-hour tour of the NOAA National Hurricane Center (NHC) will include the various functions that allow the NHC to accomplish their mission of saving lives, mitigating property loss, and improving economic efficiency.
