In the aftermath of catastrophe events, firms must grapple with vast quantities of data to understand the proximity of their risk clusters to hazard zones. RMS has designed Exposure Manager to make this process more efficient. Calculating key metrics, such as exposed limit, is quicker and more straightforward. The analytics are provided in visual format and are fully customizable, enabling firms to progressively fine-tune their insights to make faster decisions. Powered by the RMS(one) platform which uses the RMS Financial Model to process complex financial structures and contractual terms, Exposure Manager produces analytics that help identify a firm’s risk hotspots and growth opportunities.
“What distinguishes Exposure Manager from other portfolio management solutions is that it’s built on a big data and analytics platform architected specifically so that risk-carriers can interrogate both exposures and modeled losses in one analytics environment,” said Farhana Alarakhiya, vice president, software products at RMS. Exposure Manager can process large volumes of data while also producing analytics at any granularity. This means our clients can create risk insights across their entire risk management process to drive more informed decision-making.”
Exposure Manager eliminates labor-intensive processes currently required to produce regular exposure reports and allows users to focus on generating exposure insights through powerful, automated analytics and share them across the entire organization with greater confidence in the numbers.
