RMS Names Alex Barnett as Vice President of Developer Relations
Former Intuit executive brings more than 15 years of experience to RMS

RMS, the world's leading catastrophe modeling firm, today announced the appointment of Alex Barnett as vice president of developer relations. Barnett and his team will enable RMS clients and third-party developers to effectively build models, data, and applications on and around RMS(one). RMS(one) is the company’s real-time exposure and risk management environment purpose-built for the global insurance, reinsurance and insurance-linked securities industries to manage all of their exposure and risk in one open environment.

Barnett brings more than 15 years of developer leadership experience from enterprise technology companies such as Intuit and Microsoft. Most recently, he served as the group manager of developer relations at Intuit where he was responsible for all aspects of strategy, planning and execution of developer marketing, platform evangelism, technical and business education, and technical support. During his time at Intuit, he led the relaunch and rebranding of the Intuit Partner Platform, and doubling of membership in the company's developer programs.
