Since 2000, flood events have resulted in over $1.2 trillion in economic losses, causing the most billion-dollar events during the same period. Despite the prevalence and cost of flood events globally, less than 17% of those losses have been insured, creating an enormous opportunity for (re)insurers that can quantify flood risk at a global scale.
Join us in our Global Flood Risk series as we introduce the New RMS Global Flood Maps.
In this webinar, you will learn:
- Why flood risk is a global problem
- Our approach to assessing the risk
- How (re)insurers can plug the gap with our new Global Flood Maps
This webinar is part of our Season of Flood webinar series. For more Season of Flood Content, view our upcoming and on-demand sessions.
