You are in control of your journey across a wide array of valuable content, with seven tracks to choose from and 70 sessions across Tuesday and Wednesday. From the “2018 and Beyond: Models and Data” track, perspectives from a range of industry voices, through to opportunities for business growth, pick and choose the tracks and sessions to suit. The Exceedance app will be your friend and guide over the coming days, if you have not already downloaded it, click here for more details or search “Exceedance” in the Apple app or Google Play store.

As you discover new ideas, approaches and solutions, there will be plenty of questions, and RMS experts are on hand to answer them for you. On level 2, in the Atrium area between the Biscayne and Grand Ballroom, from breakfast time tomorrow right through to Thursday morning, The Lab team are primed and ready to answer your questions, give hands-on demonstrations, and help you make sense and provide context around new model and software solutions.

Look for the Solutions and Technology Zone in The Lab to discover the work of RMS Analytical Services and how they can help your business. The Modeling Solutions Zone gives you an in-depth look into RMS modeling and analytical capabilities, and how our models manage catastrophe risk at all levels of an organization.

The conference officially starts with the welcome reception, poolside here at the InterContinental in Miami from 5.30 p.m., with delegates enjoying great hospitality, a chance to meet with colleagues and friends, and to look out over the stunning views of the Biscayne Bay, providing a dramatic backdrop to this year’s event.

The first Exceedance general session keynote led by Karen White, chief executive officer at RMS, starts tomorrow (Tuesday) at 9 a.m. Joining Karen are leading experts from across RMS, with a keynote focusing on how we are helping clients by leveraging lessons learned from the events of 2017, from hurricanes, floods and wildfires, to bring new advances in model science and technology that enables your business to better manage and capitalize on catastrophe risk.

And don’t forget, to make sure your Exceedance experience is the best it can be, our on-site staff are all here to help you get the most from the conference and answer any questions or resolve any inquiries you may have. To all delegates here in Miami, we hope you enjoy Exceedance, and please check back on the RMS blog for more updates throughout the conference.
