RMS Hurricane Model Re-Certified by Florida Commission

Solutions (RMS) announced today that the Florida Commission on Hurricane
Loss Projection Methodology (FCHLPM) has once again certified the RMS
U.S. (Florida) hurricane model.
Each year the Commission reviews hurricane models for
use in residential rate filings with the Florida Department of
Insurance. A version of the RMS hurricane model has been submitted and
certified for twelve consecutive years since the commission was formed.
The newly certified version of the model - version 8.0.1a. - can be used
for rate filings in Florida, having been approved against all standards
set by the FCHLPM.
