RiskLink-DLM
(Detailed Loss Module) is a comprehensive catastrophe loss engine that
analyzes property risk using detailed exposure data. Supported by a
global set of sophisticated risk assessment models, DLM allows insurance
portfolio managers and analysts to meet all of their catastrophe
management needs.
RiskLink-DLM leverages detailed risk parameters from an insurer's policy
database to generate the most accurate loss analysis possible. DLM
accepts a wide range of detailed input, including street address and
postal code locations, detailed building characteristics, occupancy, and
location specific values, limits, and coverages. This information is
combined with RMS databases and models of local hazards, risk frequency
and severity, and building response to generate detailed financial
losses for the portfolio.
